Christian prayer is a gift, it is a privilege that cost the Lord Jesus Christ His life.Through it we perceive with a perception clearer than sight, and with it we look to see the flinging back of those golden gates and begin to peer into the spiritual realm. It is through prayer that we realize the value of grace, the importance of mercy, the sobering strength of truth and Gods great love for us; a love once revealed at Calvary .Are there rewards in prayer? ah, yes, my friend!Although we are totally undeserving, we shall be recompensed.
I kneel at His feet and I speak His name I hold fast to His hands where the nails did remain
I imagine His presence; soon I am awed with His fame
I begin to rejoice that He is coming back once again.
We love you Father; we are grateful that through Christ you have reunited us to yourself, not only in Spirit, but in body, mind and soul.We are grateful for the freedom and happiness you have given us in Your Son.We are grateful that we can bend the knee and worship you in the fullness of the Spirit and in the knowledge of the truth.Thank you, Father.Amen.
